  4. SpamEater Pro/Std is an application that will clean your POP3 mailbox 
  5. of spam (unsolicited junk email) BEFORE you download it with your POP3
  6. email client. Features extensive listing of known spammers, ability
  7. to add entries to the spammers listing, unlimited number of spammers
  8. in the listing, unlimited number of valid email address, and more.
  9. SpamEater features an easy to use user interface and a step by step
  10. assistant for setting it up.

  13. NOTE: If you are installing SpamEater Pro v2.6.0 and had installed
  14. previous beta releases of v2.6.0 then you MUST first uninstall the
  15. beta PRIOR to installing this final release!

  18. Minimum Requirements:
  19. ---------------------
  20. 1) An internet connection using TCP/IP (eg. Dialup Networking, LAN)
  21. 2) Email mailbox account on a POP3 server
  22. 3) Windows 95/98 or NT 4.0 SP3

  24. Installation:
  25. -------------
  26. 1) Unzip the downloaded archive to a temp directory.
  27. 2) Run the SETUP.EXE program to install the files and create
  28.    the SpamEater folder and icons. ** 
  29. 3) Run SpamEater and choose the File | Preferences menu item to
  30.    configure SpamEater. (press F1 for help at any time) ***
  31. 4) You're done! Review the online help for more information.

  33. The Standard version of SpamEater (SpamEater.Exe) is released as a
  34. freeware product. The Pro version (SpamEtrP.Exe), with enhanced 
  35. functionality, is released as Shareware with a 30 day, unrestricted, 
  36. trial period. Please see the online help file for more information 
  37. regarding both releases.

  39. Upgrading registration for previous versions: All registered
  40. users of previous versions of SpamEater Pro are entitled to a
  41. free upgrade to v2.6.0. To find out how to get your updated
